Our mid-week discipleship classes are designed to help you live the Inspired Life—to follow Jesus with purpose, grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and engage your community with the hope of the gospel. Each class provides practical, biblical training that equips you to take real next steps in your walk with Christ.
Classes are organized around our Inspired Life principles—Relentless Follower, Hopeful Voice, Authentic Guide, Everyday Servant, and Foundational Theology—so you can choose a study that fits where you are and where you want to grow. If you’re new to connecting or just beginning your discipleship journey at Concord, we encourage you to start with the Inspired Life Foundations course.

Every Man a Warrior is a men’s discipleship journey that helps you live the Inspired Life by becoming a relentless follower of Jesus—someone who pursues God daily, grows intentionally, and chooses obedience in the real moments of life. This study equips men to build a strong walk with Christ through consistent time in Scripture, honest brotherhood, and the skills needed to follow Jesus faithfully at home, at work, and in personal integrity. Each week includes a simple rhythm of lesson work and recorded quiet times that help men establish spiritual habits, renew their minds, and gain the courage and clarity needed to live out their God-given calling. If you’re ready to grow, lead, and live as a man who inspires others to follow Jesus, this course will give you the tools to get there.
The Freedom in Christ class helps you live as a relentless follower of Jesus—someone who pursues spiritual growth by understanding their new identity, renewing their mind, and walking in daily obedience. This class guides you through what it truly means to be a new creation in Christ, why you can approach God with bold confidence, and how the gospel frees you from past wounds, destructive thought patterns, and repeated cycles of sin. You’ll learn how to take every thought captive, break old strongholds, and experience the fruitful, Spirit-led life God intends for His disciples.
This four-week course introduces you to the rhythms and practices of living the Inspired Life — a life that intentionally inspires people to follow Jesus. You’ll learn how gospel engagement happens both inside the church and in the everyday places God has put you. You’ll discover your unique calling by exploring how your story, gifting, and passions come together for Kingdom purpose. You’ll also learn what intentional discipleship is and identify next steps that help you grow as a Relentless Follower, Hopeful Voice, Authentic Guide, and Everyday Servant.
This three-week intensive helps you grow as a person who inspires people to follow Jesus through your own consistent walk with Him. You’ll learn what it truly means to be with God, learn from God, and go with God in your everyday life. You’ll explore a biblical vision of worship that shapes your heart, habits, and decisions. Each week provides practical tools that help you develop a daily rhythm of Scripture, prayer, and spiritual dependence as a Relentless Follower
Prayer is a core practice of a relentless follower of Jesus—someone who pursues God daily and seeks His presence in every circumstance. When You Pray will help you develop that rhythm by teaching you how to talk to God with honesty, confidence, and faith. Through the prayers of Scripture, you’ll see how real people brought their deepest emotions to God and discover how you can do the same. If prayer feels difficult, inconsistent, or intimidating, this study will help you build a meaningful, daily habit of communion with God. You’ll learn to pray Scripture, express your heart openly, and strengthen your walk with Christ in ways that inspire others to follow Him.
This intensive equips you to speak hope, truth, and grace into the lives of the people God has placed around you. You’ll learn to pray intentionally for people where you live, work, and play—adopting the posture of someone who brings the hope of Jesus into every environment. You’ll practice rhythms of asking good questions, listening well, and gathering with people through testimony, gospel conversations, and simple acts of love. By the end, you’ll be empowered to live as a Hopeful Voice who inspires people toward Jesus through compassion and boldness.
This three-week track helps you become a disciple-maker who authentically walks with others toward Jesus. You’ll learn how to identify someone to invest in, and you’ll be equipped with a simple and sustainable framework for intentional discipleship. You’ll practice the H.E.A.R. method to engage Scripture in a way that fuels your own growth and helps others take steps in their faith. This intensive shapes you into an Authentic Guide—someone whose life, honesty, and example inspire others to follow Jesus more closely.
During His ministry, Jesus invited His followers to walk with Him, learn from Him, and invest in others—and then He commanded them to multiply by making disciples who would do the same. Multiplying: Creating a Culture of Disciple-Makers equips you to step into that calling as both a relentless follower of Jesus and an authentic guide who helps others grow. This study is a practical and biblical framework for intentional spiritual formation. Each week includes reading, reflection, and personal assignments designed to deepen your discipleship and prepare you to disciple others. Because this is a hands-on, interactive course, weekly attendance and completion of the work are essential for the group to grow together.
The Way of Wisdom is designed to help you become an authentic guide—someone who leads others toward Jesus through a life shaped by godly wisdom and Christlike character. Through the book of Proverbs, this study explores how wisdom impacts your relationships, decisions, speech, work, and everyday choices. As you apply biblical wisdom, you’ll grow in discernment, integrity, humility, and spiritual maturity—the very qualities that make your life worth imitating. If you want to deepen your influence and learn how to guide others through the example of a wise and faithful walk with Christ, this study will equip you for that journey.
This intensive helps you model the heart of Jesus by serving others in the ordinary rhythms of life. Through three “Son of Man” statements, you’ll explore how Christ served, sought, and welcomed people—and what it looks like to do the same. You’ll learn to leverage your time, talent, and treasure for Kingdom impact, to proclaim the gospel with clarity, and to practice biblical hospitality where people feel seen and cared for. By the end, you’ll be equipped to live as an Everyday Servant who inspires people to follow Jesus through simple, consistent acts of love.
Knowing God as He truly is forms the foundation of the Inspired Life. He’s Where the Joy Is is a theological study that helps you understand and enjoy the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As you grow in your understanding of God’s character, your worship deepens, your faith strengthens, and your walk with Christ becomes more rooted and joyful. This study will guide you through what Scripture teaches about the triune nature of God and why it matters for everyday discipleship. If you want to build a stronger theological foundation and experience the joy that comes from truly knowing God, this class is a great place to start.
Understanding what Scripture teaches about heaven and angels builds the foundation for a confident, gospel-rooted faith. This combined study helps you grasp the eternal realities God has prepared for His people — the hope of heaven — and the spiritual beings He sends to serve, guard, and worship Him. As you learn, your faith becomes more grounded, your worship deeper, and your daily walk more shaped by eternal perspective. Together we’ll explore: • What the Bible really says about heaven — our future home and God’s eternal kingdom. • Who angels are, what they do, and how God uses them throughout Scripture to guard, guide, worship, and serve. • How this biblical truth reshapes how we live today: our identity, hope, worship, and mission as followers of Christ.
Are the storms of life raging? Does it feel like your boat is filling with water? In Matthew Part 2, you’ll meet the Jesus who calls us to trust Him in the wind and waves—and teaches us how to walk with Him even when life feels overwhelming. Together we’ll study Matthew 14–28 and learn what it means to follow Jesus with courage and confidence. No prior participation in Matthew Part 1 is required.
Revelation Part 2 (chapters 4–22) takes you deep into John’s vision of heaven, final judgment, Christ’s return, and the new creation. This Precept study helps you see God’s sovereignty, understand His future plans, and grow in the endurance and hope needed to follow Jesus faithfully in every season. Through careful inductive study, you’ll learn to live with an eternal perspective—letting the promise of Christ’s victory and coming kingdom shape how you walk with Him today.
In this 10-session verse-by-verse study, Jen Wilkin guides you through the book of Revelation—the culmination of God’s great story and a vital word for the church today. Revelation offers both a steadying assurance of God’s sovereignty and a strong call to endure as faithful disciples, no matter the pressures of life or culture. This study helps you see the big picture of Scripture’s final chapters while understanding how they anchor your hope, shape your worship, and strengthen your daily walk with Christ. As you explore John’s vision of the risen Jesus, the Lamb, the church, and the coming kingdom, you’ll learn how to live as a relentless follower who trusts God’s promises and stands firm in faith.
At Mom2Mom, we are passionate about connecting and encouraging moms through authentic relationships and biblical truth. Our moms meet weekly to lead from each other and to study God’s Word together, and once a month, to hear a teaching or testimony from an encouraging speaker.
Being a single mom can feel overwhelming—balancing work, school schedules, meals, and countless daily responsibilities. This group is a place where you don’t have to carry those burdens alone. Together, we’ll open God’s Word, encourage one another, and walk through life’s challenges as a community of women who understand the journey. This class is designed to help you grow in your faith, find strength for the week, and experience the support of other moms who are learning to follow Jesus with courage and hope. Here, you’ll find compassion, friendship, and a reminder of God’s constant presence: you are loved, seen, and never alone.
This class marks the launch of the Community Impact Team within the Sager Institute at First Baptist Concord. Through engaging teaching and discussion, you’ll gain a clear understanding of our constitutional rights from both a biblical and historical perspective, equipping you to be salt and light in a cultural moment that desperately needs truth, courage, and clarity.
